Andrew Halter

Councilman

Democrat: Serving Three Year Term ending December 31, 2027.

A lifelong resident of Glassboro, and a graduate of Glassboro High School. He studied Fire Science at Camden County College. Andrew has been employed by Gloucester County Emergency Response and has been a Glassboro Firefighter for over 15 years. 

He currently serves as Commissioner to the Glassboro Housing Authority and Vice-Chair of the newly formed Boro Arts & Cultural Council,  Creative Glassboro. Andrew and his wife Laura reside in the Chestnut Ridge development. 

Andrew has always been very involved in the community and has served on several committees including:

Board of Health, Historic Preservation Commission

Greater Glassboro Group

Board of Trustees for the Gloucester County Hero Scholarship Fund

Glassboro Board of Education
