Anna Miller

Council President

Democrat: Serving Three Year Term ending December 31, 2027.

Anna Miller, a native of Glassboro, has a proven track record of service, empowerment, and leadership within our community. She was elected to the Borough of Glassboro Council in 2013 and appointed as Council President in 2023. Anna currently serves as the Chair of the Highway Committee and is a member of the Public Safety and Water and Sewer Committees. Additionally, she acts as the liaison to the Library & Human Services and the Glassboro Housing Authority.

During Anna's time in office, she has championed the development of Downtown Glassboro and has actively supported the growth of small businesses throughout the municipality. Anna's dedication to the community is unwavering, as she works to make the Borough of Glassboro an inclusive and welcoming place for all residents. She is committed to creating more walkable areas throughout the Borough, providing greater opportunities for residents to enjoy and explore their surroundings.

As a coach and former runner, Ms. Miller embodies several core values cultivated during her time on the track, particularly the importance of self-improvement through personal mantras. She inspires residents to embrace their unique journeys with courage and integrity, urging them to pursue their goals with unwavering drive and determination. Ms. Miller emphasizes the significance of being fearless and resilient in the face of challenges, encouraging individuals to run their own race with confidence and purpose.

A long-time Glassboro resident, Anna has been actively involved in various aspects of civic life. She volunteers with the track and field program in the Park & Recreation Department and serves as the president of the Glassboro Orchid Club, a community service organization dedicated to meeting the needs of our area through education, health, and legislation. Additionally, Anna is a trustee and outreach lead for the Emanuel Baptist Church, and a member of the Glassboro high School Sports Hall of Fame committee.

Anna holds an associate's degree in business from Gloucester County College and a bachelor's degree in healthcare administration from Eastern Kentucky University. She is a distinguished member of the Rowan College of Gloucester County Alumni Hall of Fame, having been inducted in 2017. In addition to her academic achievements, Anna is a proud graduate of Glassboro High School and a member of both the Glassboro Sports Hall of Fame and Gloucester County Sports Hall of Fame. She was recognized for her exceptional accomplishments in track and field, earning the title of High School All-American as a proud Bulldog.

In her free time, Anna enjoys spending time with her 2 daughters and granddaughter.
