They’re peaceful areas where people can sit, read, talk with friends, enjoy the scenery, or take a quiet walk. They don’t require equipment or organized activity—just space to relax. Things like walking paths, shaded benches, gardens or landscaping.
Active Amenities (Play, Sports, Energy): These are the spaces designed for movement and recreation. These areas are for activities where people are playing, exercising, or being more physically active. Examples include playgrounds, sports fields and courts, dog parks, fitness equipment.
