13th Annual St. Anthony’s Italian Festival

The vibrant sights, sounds, and flavors of southern Italy will return to Downtown Glassboro on Saturday, September 12, 2026, for the 13th annual St. Anthony’s Italian Festival, a beloved cultural celebration hosted in partnership with St. Anthony’s Mutual Aid Society.

The Italian Festival is a showcase of Glassboro’s rich Italian-American heritage, filled with live music, family-friendly entertainment, authentic cuisine, and a deep sense of community. From homemade cannoli to sausage and peppers, festivalgoers can expect a culinary tour of Italy accompanied by wine, craft beer, and sweet treats.


Experience a Cherished Glassboro Tradition

The festivities of St. Anthony’s Italian Festival will begin with one of the community’s most cherished traditions—the annual procession. Beginning at St. Anthony’s Mutual Aid Society the procession makes its way through the streets of Glassboro, bringing together faith, family, heritage, and community. Visitors are invited to gather along Poplar Street, the designated Procession Route Viewing Area, for an opportunity to experience this beautiful tradition as the procession passes by. Bring your family and friends, find a spot along the route, and join us in celebrating a tradition that has connected generations of the Glassboro community.

Main Stage Schedule

2:00 p.m. | Following the annual procession, join us on the festival stage for the official welcome to St. Anthony’s Italian Festival! Gather with family, friends, and neighbors as we celebrate the traditions, heritage, and community that make this festival such a special part of Glassboro. We’ll officially kick off the afternoon’s festivities and invite everyone to stay, explore, enjoy the food and entertainment, and celebrate together.

2:30 p.m. | A favorite for children and families, the Italian Fairy brings a touch of magic to the festival!

3:30 p.m. | Enjoy the timeless sounds of Italy with Greg Armstrong & Friends as they perform beloved Italian favorites and classic songs that celebrate the country's rich musical heritage.

5:15 p.m. | The Vivaci Dancers (formerly I Ballerini e le Voci d'Italia) is a Philadelphia-based folk-dance group founded in 1972 by Cav. Elba Farabegoli Gurzau that preserves and performs traditional regional Italian dances

6:00 p.m. | Join us for a fun, interactive "That's Amore" Sing-Along and celebrate the music, joy, and traditions of Italy! Gather with family and friends as everyone sings along to this timeless classic and other beloved Italian favorites.

8:00 p.m. | Get ready for a high-energy performance from Right Turn at 40! This talented local band brings an exciting mix of classic rock, pop, and crowd favorites that will have festival-goers singing along and dancing in the streets

9:45 p.m. | Glassboro Police Charitable Association 50/50 Winner Announced

 

Heritage Stage Schedule

Celebrate the traditions, culture, and community spirit of St. Anthony’s Italian Festival with the brand-new Heritage Stage! This special addition to the festival will showcase local performers, Italian-inspired entertainment, cultural demonstrations, and community storytelling throughout the day. Join us as we honor the heritage that brings generations together while enjoying live music, family fun, and the flavors of Italy.

St. Anthony's Mutual Aid Fund will be serving their FAMOUS Porchetta & Meatball Sandwiches at the corner of Main Street & Rowan Boulevard during the festival! All proceeds benefit the St. Anthony's Mutual Aid Fund and help support its mission of serving the community.
