The Glassboro Experience

Glassboro is a progressive community, always looking to the future. In a partnership between the municipality, Rowan University and local public schools, a Cyber District is being developed in the downtown business area that will provide businesses with the most technically advanced broadband services available in Gloucester County.

Made in America makes us proud in Glassboro, NJ.  The evidence of precision craftsmanship and manufacturing is alive and well.  In 2015/16, we added hundreds of new jobs and 83 companies either started, moved here or made expansions within the borough’s limits.

By buying locally made products you are not only supporting our local economy, but you are also taking a stand for fair wages and ethical production. American manufacturing employees get paid decent wages and work decent hours in safe environments, controlled by our governing rules and regulations. This is not the case in many other parts of the world.

By buying locally made products you are helping to reduce transport emissions from container ships. Such transport is also known to disrupt life in our oceans.

By buying locally made products you are making the safe choice. A factory in the USA cannot emit toxic waste or chemicals into rivers and lands without consequences. That fact also means that the raw materials that went into a Made in USA product are deemed safe for us to use.
