The Construction Office of Glassboro ensures that building projects throughout the Borough are completed safely and in compliance with state and local codes. The office reviews permit applications, issues construction permits, and conducts inspections for residential and commercial projects to confirm compliance with New Jersey’s Uniform Construction Code. By working closely with property owners, contractors, and other Borough departments, the Construction Office helps protect public safety, supports responsible development, and ensures quality construction standards are met across the community.

How to Request an Inspection

If you are unable to utilize the SDL Portal, please use a Construction Permit Inspection Request Form that can be submitted via email to Construction@glassboro.org
NOTE: The inspection is NOT scheduled until you receive a confirmation with the date of the appointment.

Online Tracking System for Permits
The Borough of Glassboro utilizes Spatial Data Logic's (SDL) Municipal Management Software, an online tracking system connecting municipalities and their residents. Residents can create an account and subsequently log in to the SDL portal for 24 hour access to permit tracking.
