Paid Parking in Downtown Glassboro
Here’s how it works: Once the user is parked, they can find a number posted on the kiosk near their parking location. The user simply texts the number provided, immediately receiving a secure link to follow to input their parking details. They enter their license plate number, parking duration and payment information. A confirmation is sent, and their parking session begins. Information is sent to parking enforcement who can verify the vehicle is in compliance. That’s it! There is no need to create an account, download an app, or visit a kiosk.
The Borough offers a complementary 30 minute parking session before the $1.00 per hour for 2 hour, the rates then will increase for the 3rd and 4th hour to a total of $8 for 4 hours of parking at all lots, spaces, and garages. The garages and designated parking lots will have the option for overnight parking.
Payment Options
Pay by Text - Manage parking sessions via text message. To use it, find the number posted at the parking location, text that number, and follow the prompts to enter your details and payment information. You'll receive a confirmation text once your session is started, and you can also extend your parking time via text if needed.
Flowbird App - The app features a map-based user interface, integrated with Waze and other navigation systems, to guide users to their preferred parking location.
Kiosk - uses a ‘pay-by-plate’ parking system. This means that users will not be required to return to their car to display a receipt on the dashboard. Instead, all they need is their license plate information.
