The Borough of Glassboro invites community members to kick off the holiday season on Friday, December 5th in Downtown Glassboro.

GLASSBORO, NEW JERSEY -The Borough of Glassboro transforms once again into a winter wonderland for the 12th Annual Boro in Lights presented by Nexus Properties and Rowan University on Friday, December 5th from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m.

Throughout the evening, Santa and Mrs. Claus will join the community for the holiday tree lighting, accompanied by festive musical performances, complimentary photo opportunities, a holiday market, delicious food trucks, and free family-friendly activities for all ages.

“Boro in Lights is one of Glassboro’s most cherished traditions,” said Councilwoman Daniele Spence. “Each year, this celebration brings our community together to share in the joy and magic of the holiday season. It’s a time to slow down, connect with one another, and experience the spirit of Glassboro at its brightest.”

At 6:30 p.m., Santa and Mrs. Claus will light the holiday tree, illuminating more than 1,700 LED lights in a dazzling display of holiday magic. Musical performances from local community organizations, Rowan University, and Glassboro High School will follow.

Wallace III. “Thanks to the support of our local businesses, Rowan University, and Nexus Properties, we’re able to create a magical evening that brings families and neighbors together, highlights the vibrancy of Downtown Glassboro, and welcomes visitors from across South Jersey to experience the heart and warmth of our community.”
