Call for Artists to be Featured During Glassboro’s Art Walk & Night Market
5 Selected Artists to be Highlighted with Free, High-Visibility Vendor Space.
Glassboro, NJ — The Borough of Glassboro is calling on artists throughout the Delaware Valley to apply to be a Featured Artist at the 2nd Annual Glassboro Art Walk and Night Market, presented by Nexus Properties, on October 3rd from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m.
Located in the heart of Downtown Glassboro, the Art Walk and Night Market celebrates the artistic roots of Glassboro by offering free admission to local art museums, highlighting public installations, and featuring several local artists.
“The Art Walk & Night Market not only highlights the history of Glassboro, but celebrates our thriving artistic scene,” says Councilman Andrew Halter, Co-Chair of the Creative Glassboro Advisory Board. “As the festival expands in scope, we want to highlight practicing artists in our area alongside our longstanding public art installations.”
Five featured artists will be selected for exclusive vendor space in a high-visibility area of the event. Artists will be encouraged to display works of art, vend pieces available for sale, and provide demonstrations to attendees of the festival.
Become a highlight of the festival by applying to be a featured artist today. Interested artists should apply with three to five works of art via the event website: www.glassboro.org/art-walk-night-market. Please read all submission guidelines before applying. Submissions will close on August 14th, and applicants should expect a decision by September 2nd. All submissions will be carefully reviewed by the Art Walk & Night Market Committee.
The Glassboro Art Walk & Night Market is presented by Nexus Properties, in partnership with the Creative Glassboro Advisory Board.
