Glassboro Achieves Second Bronze Sustainable Jersey Certification
Sustainable Jersey representatives announced today that Glassboro has met the rigorous requirements to achieve Sustainable Jersey certification. Glassboro is one of 64 towns that have attained certification in 2018. Sustainable Jersey's participating communities represent over half the state's municipalities and nearly 89 percent of its population.
“The Borough of Glassboro congratulates all the Green Team members who continually raise environmental awareness in our schools, homes, and communities through Green Team activities,” said Mayor John Wallace III. “This important Borough Commission helps everyone take action to protect our natural resources, and brings to life sustainable practices.”
