The West Jersey Depot was built and operating during those tumultuous times- hear and learn about the music played, the sights and sounds of a soldiers camp, and hear President Lincoln give a heartfelt and powerful speech!

West Jersey Depot Feb. Open House -Book Signing
Visit Glassboro’s historic train depot for a book signing by local educator, historian and author, Robert P. Tucker. Enjoy a unique and informative exhibit of items and photos from the Elsmere community of Glassboro, which also consisted of the “Eighty Acres” farmland. Celebrate Black History Month by learning about Glassboro’s distinctive African American community, its notable citizens and their contribution to the “Glassworks in the Woods”.
