How to pay to park in Downtown Glassboro.

The first thing to know about parking in Downtown Glassboro is there are parking lots, on-street metered parking and parking garages. All of which accept payment via the text to pay, Flowbird parking app, parking kiosks, or the NexPass available at Rowan Blvd. or Mick Garages. Parking Rates.

Rowan Blvd Parking Garage & Mick Drive Parking Garage | Provide short-term and overnight parking for visitors of Downtown Glassboro, Courtyard Marriott (Rowan Blvd. Garage) and Rowan University. Short term parking is $1 an hour for the first 2 hours. After the first 2 hours, the rate will be $3 an hour with a max of 4 total hours or $8 total. Long term parking (5 - 24 hours) on the upper levels of the garages will start at $3.00 and max out at $8.00 for 24 hours. All major credit cards are accepted at both garages.

Lot Parking | The first 2 hours of parking at all lots (excluding the Glassboro Municipal Lot) is $1 an hour for the first 2 hours. After the first 2 hours, the rate will be $3 an hour with a max of 4 total hours or $8 total. Text to pay, mobile app or kiosk payments are accepted.

On-Street Metered Parking | The first 2 hours of parking on the street is $1 an hour for the first 2 hours. After the first 2 hours, the rate will be $3 an hour with a max of 4 total hours or $8 total. Text to pay, mobile app or kiosk payments are accepted.

Overnight Parking | $8 overnight parking, from 10 p.m. through 6 a.m., is available at College Avenue (lot #8), Glassboro Library (lot #10), East High/Main Lot (lot #12) and Academy of Performing Arts (lot #14). Text to pay, mobile app or kiosk payments are accepted.

There is NO overnight parking at the South Poplar Street (lot #4) or Glassboro Municipality (lot #5) parking lots, Violators will be ticketed.

Parking Violations.

Parking time limits are actively enforced by Nexus Glassboro. Parking enforcement will issue one warning per vehicle.

1st Offense | Owner of the vehicle will be issued a “Demand for Payment” for $8. If the demand for payment is not paid before midnight of your offense, payment will increase in increments (review increments here).

If a Glassboro traffic ticket is issued it will be $50.00

  • Do not park blocking driveways, stop signs, mailboxes, railroad crossings, or intersections.

  • Do not park on the grass in city parks, or in any restricted areas.
