“Get a Taste” of what Glassboro Restaurants have to offer with the Inaugural Glassboro Restaurant Week; April 21-28

GLASSBORO, NEW JERSEY --- Glassboro officials are thrilled to announce Glassboro’s inaugural Restaurant Week, which will kick off Sunday, April 21st and will continue through Sunday, April 28.

Participating restaurants will offer diners a variety of discounts, whether that be a small discount on a particular food item or a more robust pre-fixed price menu – encouraging the Southern New Jersey region to ‘get a taste’ of what Glassboro restaurants have to offer. Glassboro breweries and liquor stores are also partaking in Restaurant Week, with offerings of local craft beer and discounts on purchases.

The new event is the latest step by the Borough of Glassboro to promote its economic vibrancy and unique urban experiences.

"Our restaurants are an integral part of Glassboro’s economic and cultural success,” said Mayor John E. Wallace III. “Restaurant Week offers everyone the opportunity to celebrate world-class cuisine and connect with members of the community. Whether you find a participating restaurant you haven’t yet visited or enjoy one of your favorites, this is an excellent way to support the growth and sustainability of our local restaurants.”

Participating restaurants include Landmark Americana, Oliver’s Twist, Filippo’s Pizzeria, Bosphorus Mediterranean Cuisine, and Monarch Diner.  For the full list of participating restaurants please visit glassboro.org. If your restaurant would like to participate or you’re in need of further information, please contact the Glassboro’s Department of Economic Development at (856) 881-9230 x 88178, or mvarrell@glassboro.org
