Borough of Glassboro partners with Rowan University Students to host Inaugural Main Street Music and Arts Festival on April 6, 2024

GLASSBORO, NEW JERSEY --- The Borough of Glassboro announces a partnership with senior students in the Department of Music at Rowan University to host Inaugural Main Street Music and Arts Festival on April 6, 2024, from 2 pm till 9 pm in Glassboro Town Square.

Mainstreet Music & Arts Festival is a celebration of creativity and community, bringing together musicians, artists, and enthusiasts for a day of immersive experiences. With a commitment to diversity, entertainment, and artistic expression, the festival aims to create a haven where people can connect, create, and celebrate the beauty of art in all its forms.

“We are pleased to announce our continued partnership with Rowan University students to host the Borough of Glassboro’s inaugural Main Street Music and Arts Festival. The festival will not only highlight the spirit of unity shared between the Borough and Rowan University, but more importantly our shared commitment to diversity as we open our doors to music lovers of all ages and backgrounds.” Said, Mayor John E. The festival will include a diverse lineup of talented artists spanning various genres. From indie to R&B, the festival will host an eclectic mix of both emerging and established performers, ensuring there's something for every musical palate.

Attendees are invited to wander through Glassboro’s Town Square to discover mesmerizing art installations, unique vendors, and entrepreneurs that showcase the incredible talent within our creative community. Food vendors include Big Papa Jai’s, Haagen Daz, Matty G’s Dogz, and Filippo’s Pizzeria.
