Glassboro to recognize resident Casey Snyder, a 2025 World Marathon Challenge participant

Mayor John E. Wallace III and Borough Council will recognize Snyder at the May 27th Council Meeting.

GLASSBORO, NEW JERSEY ---For over 15 years, Casey Snyder has embraced the thrill of competition. A dedicated endurance athlete, he has completed Ironman races and marathons in all 50 states. Never one to back down from a challenge, Snyder recently took his passion to the next level by participating in the World Marathon Challenge.

This past January, the Glassboro resident joined an elite group of athletes by successfully completing the grueling event: seven marathons on seven continents in just seven days. His achievement is a testament to both his exceptional endurance and unwavering dedication to sport.

“Achieving such a remarkable feat demands exceptional strength, endurance, resilience, and an unwavering commitment to success. Casey’s ability to dream ambitiously and transform what may appear impossible into reality is truly inspiring to all residents of the Borough of Glassboro,” said Mayor John E. Wallace III

Rooted deeply in family values, Snyder hopes to instill in his young son the belief that anything is possible with hard work, dedication, and the courage to chase big dreams.

Since Thanksgiving Day 2013—well before his son was born—Snyder has maintained an unbroken streak of running at least two miles every single day. Now spanning over 4,000 consecutive days, his commitment stands as a powerful testament to the discipline and determination he hopes to pass on.

The Borough of Glassboro cordially invites local press and community members to attend the upcoming Council Meeting on May 27th at 7:00 PM, held at 1 S. Main Street, Glassboro, NJ 08028. Join us as we come together with elected officials to recognize and honor Snyder for his extraordinary commitment and inspirational achievements.
