Housing & Code Enforcement is located in the Code Enforcement Building located at 10 S. Poplar Street.


The Housing & Code Enforcement Department of Glassboro works to protect and improve the quality of life for residents, businesses, and visitors by administering and enforcing local and state regulations related to health, housing, sanitation, and safety. The department conducts inspections, responds to complaints, and provides public education to ensure safe, healthy living and working environments. Through proactive enforcement and community-focused outreach, Health & Housing supports neighborhood stability, protects public health, and helps maintain high standards for residential and commercial properties throughout the Borough.

Abandoned/Vacant Property Registration - Abandoned or vacant properties must register with the Borough’s Code Enforcement Office annually.  To register a foreclosure property (or to file a citizen complaint regarding a property issue), please download the Vacant Property Registration Form (click here to download).  Any questions with respect to registration requirements, registration status, etc. should be directed to Katy Harrell, Administrative Assistant: (856) 881-9230 ext. 88140 or kharrell@glassboro.org.
