“Be Healthy, Glassboro” Bridges the Gap Between South Jersey Community and Key Resources and Healthcare Providers
Featuring Informational Sessions, Wellness Classes, and Community Resources
Glassboro, NJ — Be Healthy, Glassboro presented by Nexus Properties and CompleteCare Health Network will take place on Saturday, April 25, 2026, from 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM in Downtown Glassboro, bringing together residents, healthcare providers, and community partners for a morning focused on health and wellness.
Featuring the Mayor’s Wellness Walk, informational sessions, interactive wellness activities, and a wide range of resources, community providers, and partnerships, Be Healthy, Glassboro presents an innovative and forward-thinking approach to the traditional community health fair.
“Many community members struggle to find healthcare resources. The purpose behind ‘Be Healthy, Glassboro’ is to bridge the gap between healthcare providers and community members,” said Council President Anna Miller. “With the sheer number of resources available and the variety of partnerships on-site, Glassboro continues to rise to the occasion to empower the community.”
The morning will kick off at 8 a.m. with the Mayor’s Wellness Walk, taking participants on a 0.6-mile tour of Downtown Glassboro. The first 100 attendees will receive free “Be Healthy, Glassboro” t-shirts to commemorate their participation.
Following the wellness walk, attendees are invited to explore a wide range of community partnerships and resource booths. At the Main Stage, a series of informational sessions will cover important topics such as expanding healthcare access, preventative care, and responsible health practices. These sessions are designed to provide participants with practical, easy-to-understand information that can be applied to everyday life, empowering individuals to take a more proactive approach to their health.
The informational sessions will be led by a diverse group of trusted partners representing a broad range of healthcare and wellness expertise. Local healthcare providers, public officials, and wellness professionals will share their knowledge to ensure attendees receive accurate, relevant, and accessible information. Topics will range from public policy and healthcare access to healthy lifestyle choices and responsible wellness practices.

By bringing together healthcare providers, community organizations, and residents, Be Healthy, Glassboro helps strengthen regional partnerships, expand access to care, and promote a more connected and resilient healthcare network” said Councilwoman Deanna Garlic.
